Infections with the Porcine Reproductive and Respiratory Syndrome Virus (PRRSV) in swine are highly prevalent and economically important for the swine industry.
The virotype PRRSV RT-PCR Kit allows the simultaneous detection of the North American (NA) and European (EU) PRRSV genotypes in samples from swine.
- Also detects the new Danish hybrid strain
- Differentiates the HP strain of the NA genotype
- Can be used for pools of up to 5 individual samples of blood, serum, tissue, bronchial swabs, bronchial lavage, saliva and semen samples from swine
- Can also be used for cell culture supernatant and collective samples of saliva
