Chicken Serum is a nutrient-rich fluid derived from the blood of healthy chickens, without any red blood cells or other clotting components.
Chicken serum is commonly used as a cell growth supplement for cell culture media, e.g., for the cultivation of chicken keratinocytes. Further applications of chicken serum include: as blocking agent in immunoassays, as an antibody diluent, or parasitology studies.
