PRODUCT INTRODUCTION
DMEM powder medium or Dulbecco’s Modified Eagle’s Medium is a standard medium, which supports the growth of various mammalian cells. It can be used to cultivate primary fibroblasts, neurons, glial cells, HUVECs, and smooth muscle cells, as well as cell lines such as HeLa, HEK 293, Cos-7, and PC-12.
DMEM comes in various formulations, where the composition of components may differ. This product follows the original formulation - DMEM Low Glucose (1 g/l) - and is further supplemented with L-Glutamine & with Sodium Pyruvate and comes without Sodium Bicarbonate (NaHCO3).
Powder media can be reconstituted to provide basic nutrients for all cell culture applications. We offer dry powdered cell culture media and buffers which are manufactured using the highest quality ingredients. The powder is precisely blended in clean, controlled state-of-the-art equipment to eliminate contaminating dust and to control temperature and humidity.
